With the NFL draft around the corner, I think it is time for me to do my own mock draft. I will be doing this based on who is left and the team needs. All the mock drafts I have seen are pretty bad, (check out the NFL mock draft on their YouTube channel). Now, lets get to it.

I know some of you will disagree, I’ve never done a mock draft before. Again, I’m looking at team needs only.

1) Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett

The Browns top need is QB, but a pass rusher can really help, that’s why Myles Garrett could be the best pick for the Browns.

2) San Francisco 49ers: any of the 4 QBs.

I know everyone is thinking the 49ers will get Solomon Thomas, but the 49ers really need a QB. Do you really think Colin Crapernick is going to take them this year, didn’t think so.

3) Chicago Bears: Jamal Adams

He is the best safety in the draft. If the bears can get him at #3, he will really help the Bears defense

4) Jacksonville Jaguars: OJ Howard

Jacksonville’s top need is a tight end. If they pick him, he can help the offense, and give Blake Bortles another target to throw to.

5) Tennessee Titans: Marshon Lattimore

The Titans are a team on the rise, and with this pick, they could make it to the playoffs

ZZZZZZZZZZZ…. Huh? Oh sorry, I was getting so bored with doing a mock draft.

Alright, lets get to the interesting stuff

THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Saints have 2 picks in the first round, picks 11, and pick 32.

Here is the perfect draft for the Saints

Pick 11: Derek Barnett.

The Saints top need is a pass rusher, Barnett is the perfect pick for the New Orleans. Plus, team him up with Cameron Jordan, and you got yourself a pass rush.

Pick 32: Tre’davious White

If he isn’t picked before 32, GRAB HIM. IF they do, the Saints will not only get their top 2 needs, but they will have gotten 2 very good players.

Let’s just hope this happens, but the Saints GM is dumb, so it probably won’t…

Well, there you have it, there is my “mock draft”.

Well Saints fans, the day has finally come, the day our hero, Drew Breesus, leaves the NFL for good.

He is the greatest Saints player of all time and one of the best QBs to ever live.

Drew Brees is the only QB to throw for 5,000 yards in a season more than once. In fact, he has done it 5 out the 9 times it has happened.

He leads the NFL in passing yards almost every year.

Yet, he has been overlooked.

When people think of the best QB today, they think of Brady, Rodgers, etc. but Brees is never thought of.

When people think of the greatest QB of all time, they think of Brady (again), Montana, Manning, who are all great QBs, but none think of Drew Brees
